WP Vegetable Biological Insecticides Bacillus Thuringiensis for Garden Soil
Bacillus thuringiensis for short Bt has been discovered for 100 years, and it has played a huge role in pest control. It has been the most intensively studied, developed, and widely used microbial insecticide in recent years. The principle of Bacillus thuringiensis is that its strain can produce two types of toxins: endotoxins (parasitic crystals) and exotoxins, so that the pests stop eating. The pests die from starvation, cell wall rupture, blood corruption, and neurotoxicity.
Bacillus thuringiensis var kurstaki(Btk) is a naturally occurring soil bacteria ideal for controlling tent caterpillars, gypsy moth, cabbage looper, tomato hornworm and other leaf eating caterpillars on trees, shrubs, tomatoes and other vegetables. Btk is most effective when applied to caterpillars during their 1st and 2nd instars, when they are still small. It must be ingested by the insect, as it is a stomach toxin. Harmless to humans, animals and beneficial insects.
Bacillus thuringiensis preparations mainly have good control effect on some lepidopteran pest larvae, and can be used to control cabbage caterpillars, rice budworms, inchworms, pine caterpillars, tobacco caterpillars, corn borers, cotton bollworms, rice leaf rollers, and moths , Ground tiger, etc.
Its insecticidal principle is that after being ingested by pests, Bacillus thuringiensis parasitizes in the midgut of the host, and grows and reproduces in a suitable alkaline environment in the intestine.
Subunits, they act on the midgut epithelial cells of the parasite, causing intestinal paralysis, perforation, paralysis of the parasite, and cessation of feeding. Then Bacillus thuringiensis entered the blood cavity to multiply, causing sepsis, resulting in the death of the parasite

Bt is the wide spectrum, high-effective bio-pesticides of stomach poison, which has excellent control effects to various pests and resistance pests. It especially has specialized killing function to lepidoptera, diptera, coleoptera pests.
Spray : To control cabbage caterpillars, rice budworms, light moths, giant molluscs and stinging moths, spray 75-100 grams of fungus powder per 666.7 square meters.
To control diamondback moth and sweet potato hawkmoth, use 150 grams of fungus powder per 666.7 square meters ~200 g, spray on water.
Bt is better to add 0.1% synthetic washing powder or tea seed cake powder to the bacterial liquid.
Mixed use of bacteria and medicine :
Mixing of Bacillus thuringiensis powder with trichlorfon, dichlorfon, monoxide and other commonly used amounts of halved has a synergistic effect, which can improve the control effect and reduce the cost
Dosage: depends on the target pests, spray
Matters needing attention
1. Bacillus thuringiensis can only play its full role in high temperature (above 20℃), so the application effect is best from July to September; The suitable time of application is 2-3 days earlier than that of chemical pesticide
2. It is effective to rice cnaphalocrocis medinalis, corn borer, bridge worm, pine caterpillar and tea caterpillar, but less effective to giant borer.
3. Low toxicity to bees, but highly toxic to bombyx mori and castor silkworm, should be strictly controlled, not used in sericulture areas. If mulberry leaves are stained with fungus powder, it is necessary to sterilize with 0.2% bleach powder, wash and dry before feeding
4. Do not mix with fungicides
5. Should be sealed, shaded, stored in a cool, dry place, and rodent bite
This product should be stored in a dry and cool warehouse below 25℃ to prevent exposure to sunlight and humidity. Do not mix with food, seeds, feed and grain. Don't be stressed. Keep out of the reach of children, and keep it locked. Handle with care during transportation to prevent damage.
