Biological Insecticides Bacillus Thuringinesis Organic Cotton Pesticide Nuclear Polyhedrosis Virus Killing Cotton Bollworm
Biological suppression of synthetic pyrethroids resistance in Helicoverpa armigera (Hubner) by nuclear polyhedrosis viruses (HaNPV)
Main advantages of insect virus insecticides:
1. Strong pertinence, only effective to target pests, does not harm natural enemies and other non-target organisms, is conducive to maintaining ecological balance and preventing pests from rampant again.
2. Pests do not easily develop resistance. Insect viruses are essentially microorganisms with nucleic acid structures that can co-evolve with pests, which have difficulty developing resistance. So compared with chemical pesticides, insect virus insecticides have more market potential in pest resistance management.
3. No residue. The main components of insect virus insecticides are natural organisms, and there is no safety interval for the products, which can be harvested on the same day. For organic and green agricultural production bases with requirements of agricultural residues, insect virus insecticides are completely safe to use green pest prevention and control products.
Working Mechanism:
Helicoverpa armigera nucleo polyhedro virus (HaNPV) is a microorganism that kills cotton helicoverpa armigera. After spraying onto crops and being eaten by pests, the virus particles replicate and multiply in the pest body, and quickly spread to all parts of the pest. Parts of the body are drastically engulfed to consume the tissues of the worms, and the pests do not eat or move during the period of ‘illness’, causing a sub-lethal effect, and eventually the whole body is killed by water, spraying on the insects, the larvae that will hatch will bite after eating the egg shell Death by feeding on the virus. In addition, virus particles can continue to be transmitted to the next generation or other pests through the body fluids and feces of dead insects like a ‘plague’, so that field pests can be effectively controlled for a long time.

1. Can be used for aircraft spraying, suitable for large area control of helicoverpa armigera.
2. Excellent effect to the oriental tobacco budworm on tobacco and chilli.
3. No safety interval period.
4. Pure biological preparation, harmless to fish, shrimp, humans and animals.
5. Strong selectivity, no damage to natural enemies, special effect on helicoverpa armigera.
6. Outstanding resistance to drug resistance and stubborn pests, no drug resistance after application.
7. Significant aftereffect. The virus can spread among generations of pests, and the drug effect lasts a long time.
Dosage: 3200~6400mL/Ha, spray
Baculoviruses have a unique mode of action. The virus infects and multiplies within the insect larvae, resulting in death, and the virus can then be transferred to subsequent pest generations and lead to a sustainable population reduction of the pest population. Its unique mode of action has the further advantage of addressing resistance to other insecticides or managing resistance prevention in pest control strategies.
Existing viral preparations are easy to use and can be sprayed like any other insecticide. They are compatible with almost all other active ingredients. As a result, we see increasing potential for the use of insect viruses in integrated strategies for integrated pest management systems.
When using this product, wear protective clothing and gloves, masks to avoid inhalation of liquid medicine, do not eat or drink while drinking. After application, wash hands and face, and clean the skin of exposed parts in a timely manner, be sensitive to silkworms, and avoid use around silkworm and mulberry areas. Pregnant women, lactating women and allergies are prohibited. Please consult a doctor if there are any adverse reactions during use.
